Sherlyn, one of our MAGIC students, was able to get 79+ in all 4 components in her first attempt after learning the tips and strategies from PTE MAGIC.
In this article, she will share with us some of her preparation tips in order to help more PTE aspirants.
WFD – practise 10 everyday
SST – practise 3-5 a week, type out as many keywords as I can, link them together, and then check very carefully on my grammar and spelling
FIB & HIW – only practise once in a while, these two are quite easy for me
RS – practise 10-15 every day (2 weeks before exam)
DI & RL – practise 5 each every day (2 weeks before exam), focus on maintaining fluency
RA – only practise once in a while, read loud, clear and comfortably
FIB-R&W – practise 5 daily (2-3 months before exam), increase to 10-15 daily (2 weeks before exam), I do not memorise answer, I spend time to understand the passage and find the meaning of some difficult terms.
FIB-R – only practise once in a while when I am really tired, because this one is easier compared to FIB-R&W
SWT – practise 3-5 a week, use PTE MAGIC’s method and adjust myself sometimes, just copy from the paragraph, and then check very carefully on my form, grammar and spelling
ESSAY – memorise the template by heart
